Kambere Simbamtaki Faden is a third-year student at Université Chrétienne Bilingue du Congo (UCBC) studying Computer Engineering.

Faden has been a leader in his community since his early work with the youth ministry at his church where he would sing in the choir and mentor others. Since starting at UCBC, Faden has joined the college’s worship team and begun working with the chaplaincy office to assist with worship and translation. In 2014, Faden became one of YECA's first Climate Fellows at UCBC, working to address environmental issues, particularly climate change issues, on his campus. Through his role as a fellow, Faden has served as a student representative on the Creation Care Committee (CCC), which coordinates all Creation Care activities on campus. He has also served at the President of the Creation Care Volunteers (CCV) student group whose goal is to work on campus and in the local community to share the message of creation care and assist the CCC in accomplishing its mission. Faden particularly enjoys learning about new ways to love and enjoy God's creation and to protect it as one of God’s stewards.
